I represented a class action plaintiff lawyer accused of defamation. After 8 days of trial against a team of big-firm lawyers, the jury gave a defendant's verdict, finding that we had proved the truth of the matter asserted.

I represented a New York-based audit firm in the Federal Court for the Southern District of Georgia. The case revolved around revenue recognition, and when the judge and jury completed their work, the plaintiff recovered nothing from my client. The 11th Circuit affirmed, and the case remains a leading decision on Georgia accounting law.

I tried a case for a bank accused of fraudulent lending and wrongful foreclosure during the financial crisis. The plaintiff was legally blind when he signed the loan documents, and the bank had loaned him less than was authorized by the loan committee. He argued that the excess loan amount would have allowed him to pay the interest until he sold the land. I faced a large family farm with a great deal of water front being foreclosed on. The jury gave us a defense verdict nonetheless.

I represented three builders who had sold a developer for breach of a contract to sell more than a hundred lots that had greatly increased in value. The case had been shut down on summary judgment by the time I took over. I got the judgment reversed, filed a new complaint for fraudulent concealment and, at trial, succeeded in enforcing the contract and recovering attorneys' fees and punitive damages.
